Once again, third hand information for those that aren't already getting it from other sources, from Becca:
Maddy's still in ICU, Room 9312. There's no phone in the room and I was told she's not allowed to have her cellphone on. Not being a relative, I couldn't get any more info out of the folks on the phone, and I didn't think I should just drop by on her without some indication that she's up for it. However, Maddy told me before surgery, and Hillary confirmed yesterday, that Hillary would call me if there was anything important to report. I'm assuming no news is good news.
I'll check again tomorrow morning to see if she has been moved back to a regular patient room, and will send out another update.
My apologies for taking down this site this weekend while people were anxiously waiting for Maddy updates. I thought most of them were hooked up to the various mailing lists, and never thought that this blog might be an important news source at this crucial time.
Whoever is posting and communicating news : thank you. Hillary, Becca and ptomblin, whoever you are. And Jean too. And most likely others. Now that Madeleine is incommunicado, at least part of the time, I worry less knowing that I can log on or pick up my voicemail at any time and get the latest news. Dependable news. Keep it up, I read you frequently. I know that if I called the hospital, I would be even less likely than some of you to pass myself off as a relative with my french accent ... so your info is that much more important at this time. Madeleine, if you read this : Maddy's Communications Team is doing a great job! Lots of love, Luce
